I live and breathe robotics automation every day for my business clients, so I thought this week would end with something for everyone to reflect on!
A few weeks ago he brought me an Amazon Echo. It's a lot of fun, and if you like technology, you just have to get it.
However, I would consider Amazon's echo as a "robot". Maybe not literally, but let me explain why she (Alexa) can be a lot.
Take a simple task in our lives ... going shopping. "We need milk" is not a difficult question / task, but we really have to keep some kind of shopping list at home. When we realize that we need something, we need to find an existing paper or list, a pen (or phone), open the application / paper and write on it. Then we must remember to take the list (if it is paper) with us. Repeat throughout the week and we all eat!
This task of the shopping list is not different from a worker of the company, opens an application, looks for information, takes notes and / or remembers to pass information to a client.
Either way, we waste billions of hours around the world, doing things that we could simply "automate" robotic automation.
So, is the Amazon Echo a Robot? Tell me why I now use it to fully automate the process of collecting my shopping list. Every time I realize that I need something, all I have to say is "Alexa, can you add milk to the shopping list?" (Please is optional, by the way, but my mother educated me to be educated). That's. Alexa (the Amazon echo) automatically adds it to your list of "clouds" and when you go to the stores, you enter the Amazon shopping list and you're done. Also, anyone at home can ask Alexa to add items to any kind of list. She is not fuzzy who speaks to her.
Most of these "micro" tasks, at home and, most importantly, at the company, can easily be adapted to technology. The benefits in cost savings for the company are enormous once it is known that the technology exists. And now you do
